Preview Released!

The preview demo for Ace Blackring in the Quest for Garlic Bread has been released!  Wander around a gallery of 8 selected scenes from the game, and try your hand at solving one of the key puzzles!  In this demo, only one of the room has fully implemented objects to interact with.  In the final game, all of these scenes will have much more to do.

This game was inspired by Commodore 64 Graphic Adventures, from the days before point and click.  If you've never played a text adventure before, you move around and interact with the game world through the use of typed commands.

"n", "s", "e", "w" will move you north and south and so on.  In some cases (although not in the demo), movement commands like "up", "down", "in", and "out" will work, too.

"look thing" or "examine thing" will describe the thing for you. You can get important clues by doing that.

"take item" will pick up an item that you can see in the room.  "give item to thing" will hand that item to the thing, which may cause something to happen.

"inv" will tell you what you're carrying.

You can try other things, too.  Most of the game commands are of the form "verb noun", so if there's something you want to try, go for it!  (Especially if the game hints at doing it...)
